Therefore all true healing must begin in the mind.\u00a0 Healing prayer is effective precisely because it begins in the mind, where healing must also begin.\u00a0 Jesus said, &#8220;Father, I thank thee that thou hast heard me,&#8221; at the beginning of a prayer. (John 11:41).\u00a0 <a rel=\"attachment wp-att-1331\" href=\"https:\/\/astrowin.org\/rffriends\/wpx\/?attachment_id=1331\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-1331\" title=\"Red Maple 2009-2\" src=\"https:\/\/astrowin.org\/rffriends\/wpx\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/10\/Red-Maple-2009-2-201x300.jpg\" alt=\"Red Maple 2009-2\" width=\"201\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/astrowin.org\/rffriends\/wpx\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/10\/Red-Maple-2009-2-201x300.jpg 201w, https:\/\/astrowin.org\/rffriends\/wpx\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/10\/Red-Maple-2009-2-687x1024.jpg 687w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 201px) 100vw, 201px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Can we be as certain of an answer to our prayers?\u00a0 Yes, we can. All prayers are answered.<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Why then does it look as if some prayers are not answered?\u00a0 This can happen under many circumstances. If you pray for what is not good for you, you will not receive it. You will receive instead what you really need, and Christ knows your true need.<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 If fear or doubt is involved in your prayer, then your prayer request is distorted and you are not actually praying for what you think you are. That is why it is so important that fear and doubt are set aside, even if temporarily during healing prayer. You will still receive what is best for all involved in the prayer.<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 God answers prayers only for eternity. When we pray for something in time that is not in our eternal interest, we will not receive our request in time, but we will receive God&#8217;s eternal gifts to us.<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 There are many answers to prayer that we have received but not yet heard.
