Max Heindel’s baby picture surfaced almost\u00a0exactly on cue,\u00a0a few days\u00a0after members and friends gathered\u00a0at Mount Ecclesia to celebrate\u00a0the centennial of \u00a0The Rosicrucian Fellowship\u00a0and three months\u00a0ahead of\u00a0the 100-year commemoration of the infant organization’s\u00a0benchmark publication,\u00a0The Rosicrucian\u00a0Cosmo-Conception<\/em>.\u00a0 Perhaps it is not an exaggeration to say that even after 100 years\u00a0Heindel’s magnum opus continues to be the authoritative work\u00a0against which all other Rosicrucian philosophical works are measured.\u00a0 Now in the public domain, you will find it under the BOOKS tab on this website.<\/p>\n

Madeline B discovered five very old Heindel photos and documents in a box in the business office just days after the centennial and she asked Roger Cosio to send copies of these to Ger W for inclusion in the English translation of his biography, Max Heindel and The Rosicrucian Fellowship<\/em>.<\/p>\n

\u00a0Carl is the younger of the two boys, the older boy\u00a0a friend or relative.<\/p>\n

\u00a0Carl Louis Fredrik Grasshoff adopted the name, Max Heindel, when he came to the United States from Denmark in about 1896 or 1897.\u00a0 The badly stained \u201coriginal\u201d photo, above,\u00a0was electronically \u201cretouched.\u201d<\/p>\n
