But from a broader perspective (broader Rosicrucian vantage point) it is always helpful to avail oneself of all legitimate sources regarding spiritual ideas, especially in the most complex subject of Jesus and the Christ Being. Though not always comfortable to consider, there are other sources that contribute to MH investigations <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-thumbnail wp-image-3616\" title=\"Manly P Hall\" src=\"https:\/\/astrowin.org\/rffriends\/wpx\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/05\/Manly-P-Hall1-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/>and teaching on the subject. Manly Hall, for example, though not an initiate per se, is an excellent source to broaden ones understanding of great spiritual figures and esoteric philosophies in history.<\/p>\n<div class=\"mceTemp\" style=\"text-align: right;\">\n<dl id=\"attachment_3617\" class=\"wp-caption alignleft\" style=\"width: 160px;\">\n<dt class=\"wp-caption-dt\"><a href=\"https:\/\/astrowin.org\/rffriends\/wpx\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/05\/Edouard-Shure.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-thumbnail wp-image-3617\" title=\"Edouard Shure\" src=\"https:\/\/astrowin.org\/rffriends\/wpx\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/05\/Edouard-Shure-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><\/a><\/dt>\n<dd class=\"wp-caption-dd\">Edouard Schure<\/dd>\n<\/dl>\n<\/div>\n<p style=\"text-align: right;\">\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: right;\">\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: right;\">Edouard Schure\u2019s, <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">The Great Initiates<\/span>, also is a good source.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: right;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">The Rosicrucian Enlightenment <\/span>By Frances Yates is highly regarded (history and influence in the 17th century). Ultimately, if one is going to dig deep for the truth, comparative study must be done.<\/p>\n<div class=\"mceTemp\" style=\"text-align: right;\">\n<dl id=\"attachment_3618\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\" style=\"width: 160px;\">\n<dt class=\"wp-caption-dt\"><a href=\"https:\/\/astrowin.org\/rffriends\/wpx\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/05\/Frances-Yates2.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-thumbnail wp-image-3618\" title=\"Frances Yates2\" src=\"https:\/\/astrowin.org\/rffriends\/wpx\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/05\/Frances-Yates2-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><\/a><\/dt>\n<dd class=\"wp-caption-dd\">Frances Yates<\/dd>\n<\/dl>\n<\/div>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">One essential source is the Fifth Gospel by Rudolf Steiner where he attempts to fill in the gaps of the Gospels, and in particular the life of Jesus from age 12 to 30 and his journeys and travels to nearby regions. He did spend some time with the Essenes as an honorary member but eventually rejected their path due to their isolationism and non-involvement with the community and suffering at large.<\/p>\n<div class=\"mceTemp\" style=\"text-align: right;\">\n<dl id=\"attachment_3619\" class=\"wp-caption alignleft\" style=\"width: 160px;\">\n<dt class=\"wp-caption-dt\"><a href=\"https:\/\/astrowin.org\/rffriends\/wpx\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/05\/rudolf-steiner3.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-thumbnail wp-image-3619\" title=\"rudolf-steiner3\" src=\"https:\/\/astrowin.org\/rffriends\/wpx\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/05\/rudolf-steiner3-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><\/a><\/dt>\n<dd class=\"wp-caption-dd\">Rudolf Steiner<\/dd>\n<\/dl>\n<\/div>\n<p style=\"text-align: right;\">In this lecture series, Jesus is depicted as an explorer and seeker, but not yet as a teacher. He gradually unfolds insight and experience in decadent religious practices of his time in and around Palestine. He does not come across as \u201ca clairvoyant or initiate\u201d at first but as a man driven to discover essential spiritual issues of the times, namely the nature of evil and its insidious impact on the people and the cultures around him. He appears to undergo a gradual awakening to his mission, culminating in the descent of the Solar Being.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">It is also well established that Jesus was the great Zarathustra in a previous life and had great knowledge and wisdom within but as is the case, a full awakening to inner soul status comes gradually and not in an \u201cenlightenment event.\u201d Zarathustra set the stage for the coming of Christ hundreds of years earlier as Ahura Mazda, the Sun Spirit, (as Christ was gradually approaching the earth).\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0&#8230; Jeff A.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I found this discussion of Jesus and probationers and disciples interesting.
