No man loves God who hates his kind,<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Who tramples on his brother’s heart and soul;<\/span><\/p>\n

Who seeks to shackle, cloud, or fog the mind<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 By fears of hell has not perceived our goal.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

God-sent are all religions blest;<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 And Christ, the Way, the Truth, the Life,<\/span><\/p>\n

To give the heavy laden rest<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 And peace from sorrow, sin, and strife.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Behold the Universal Spirit came<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 To ALL the churches, not to one alone;<\/span><\/p>\n

On Pentecostal morn a tongue of flame<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Round EACH apostle as a halo shone.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Since then, as vultures ravenous with greed,<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 We oft have battled for an empty name,<\/span><\/p>\n

And sought by dogma, edict, cult, or creed,<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 To send each other to the quenchless flame.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Is Christ then twain?\u00a0 Was Cephas, Paul,<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 To save the world, nailed to the tree?<\/span><\/p>\n

Then why divisions here at all?<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Christ’s love enfolds both you and me.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

His pure sweet love is not confined<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 By creed which segregate and raise a wall.<\/span><\/p>\n

His love enfolds, embraces human kind,<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 No matter what ourselves or Him we call.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Then why not take Him at His word?<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Why hold to creeds which tear apart?<\/span><\/p>\n

But one thing matters, be it heard<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 That brother love fill every heart.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

There’s but one thing the world has need to know.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 There’s but one balm for all our human woe:<\/span><\/p>\n

There’s but one way that leads to heaven above\u2014<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 That way is human sympathy and love. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
