\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0To find all of the seven last words of Jesus Christ, one must read all the gospels since none of the authors records all 7 last words.\u00a0 The sayings would have been originally uttered by Jesus in the Aramaic language, but only one of the last seven words of Jesus is preserved for us in the original Aramaic, namely “Eli, Eli, lama sabacthani”<\/em> or “My God, My God, why have you forsaken me,”<\/em> which is actually a direct quote of the opening verse of Psalm 22.\u00a0 The rest of the seven last words of Jesus\u00a0 are found in the gospels after having been translated into Greek by the four Evangelists.\u00a0 ….Seven Last Words of Christ <\/strong>has been used extensively in sacred music, notably by composers such as Franz Josef Hayden.\u00a0 For centuries these seven last words of Jesus have been also used as meditation.\u00a0 (paraphrased from Crossroads Initiative.com)<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Corinne Heline changes the sequence of the\u00a0last two words, putting the last as sixth and the sixth as last.\u00a0 She also writes an entirely different fourth word, giving us: My God, my God, how hast thou glorified me!\u00a0\u00a0 New Age Bible Interpretation, vol 5, page 185,<\/em><\/p>\n

Although Max Heindel called attention to mis-translations or inaccuracies in the Bible, in Rosicrucian Christianity Lectures<\/em>, page 330,\u00a0he gives us his thoughts with regard to its great importance in our spiritual evolution.<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The Great Recording Angels who have charge of our present evolution give to each nation the religion suited to its stage of growth, and we may rest assured that those Great Intelligences make no mistakes. They have given to us the Bible containing both the Jewish and the Christian Religions. One would not have been enough, both are absolutely necessary to our evolution as we shall see when we consider the matter thoroughly. When we have done that we shall also find that of all the religious systems in the world, this is positively the only one suited to the needs of the Western World, the only one which is capable of making us “wise into salvation” and enable us to “enter into” the “new heaven and the new earth”; the coming age and the coming race.\u00a0<\/em>\u00a0<\/p>\n
