font-size: small;\">A RESEARCH AND DISCUSSION CHALLENGE <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman; font-size: small;\">Discovery of the Prophecies of Joachim of Fiore regarding the Holy Trinity and his notion of three epochs of time\u00a0with the corresponding three phases of Christianity, (scroll down or check the archive for the article on Joachim, below) intriguing as they were, prompted questions on how this one view compares with the writings of Heindel.\u00a0 What did Max Heindel tell us about the Holy Trinity?\u00a0 What is the Holy Spirit, known also as the human spirit and as the Holy Ghost; the third segment of the tripartite manifestation of God?<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman; font-size: small;\">To do a thorough study on the subject, we first may examine writings about Fiore and his life and ideas and then search through the Heindel works for passages relating to the topic.\u00a0 The internet provides a good start for a study on Fiore, even if we reference only Wikipedia, a most popular source of information on any topic.\u00a0 For the Heindel writings, The Rosicrucian Fellowship provides the downloadable <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Collected Works of Heindel<\/span> with an integrated search engine, free, at its website, <\/span><a title=\"http:\/\/www.rosicrucian.com\/ebooks\/ebooks.htm\nCTRL + Click to follow link\" href=\"http:\/\/www.rosicrucian.com\/ebooks\/ebooks.htm\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff; font-family: Times New Roman; font-size: small;\">http:\/\/www.rosicrucian.com\/ebooks\/ebooks.htm<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman;\">.\u00a0 <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman; font-size: small;\">To save you some of the trouble of the search, The Rosicrucian Fellowship MMX recently created a new brochure titled, <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">The Holy Trinity and The Lord\u2019s Prayer<\/span>.\u00a0 You can find this brochure with added illustrations under the same title below at this site if you scroll down or check the archive.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman;\">This brings us to the next source of study and enlightenment, which would be other artistic or literary works on the topic.\u00a0 \u00a0Some of us are more visual in our perceptions and some are more left-brain or logic-oriented in the cognitive processes.\u00a0 Therefore, to do a group study on any topic, it helps to have both, words and illustrations; hence, the works of art that you see in the article, below.\u00a0 <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman;\">Paintings abound on the topic of the second of the tripartite manifestation, the Son, but the Holy Spirit is not so easy to paint, because not many artists have sufficient imagination.\u00a0 Therefore, it is often given only in symbolism.\u00a0 That still may be better than just words.\u00a0 Now, let\u2019s take a look at the first illustration that approaches the topic of The Holy Trinity.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman; font-size: small;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_4013\" style=\"width: 447px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"https:\/\/astrowin.org\/rffriends\/wpx\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/12\/disputation-of-the-trinity.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-4013\" class=\"size-large wp-image-4013\" title=\"disputation of the trinity\" src=\"https:\/\/astrowin.org\/rffriends\/wpx\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/12\/disputation-of-the-trinity-853x1024.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"437\" height=\"533\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-4013\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Disputation Over the Trinity - Andrea del Sarto 1517<\/p><\/div>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman;\">We found one which will not give answers to our questions but it will instead lead us on a treasure hunt of ideas as it alludes to \u201c<em>A Disputation Over the Holy Trinity<\/em>\u201d among saints who lived in different eras and did not know each other personally, but who had opposing ideas, evidently, about The Holy Trinity.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman;\">Now, we have quite a task, indeed.\u00a0 How do Fiore\u2019s and Sebastian\u2019s and Peter\u2019s and Lawrence\u2019s and Augustine\u2019s and Francis\u2019 and Magdalene\u2019s ideas differ or compare with Heindel\u2019s ideas about The Holy Trinity?\u00a0 This seems to be what the artist is suggesting \u2013 that we investigate the question.\u00a0 <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman; font-size: small;\">To get you started, there are a few well-known facts about each of these individuals that may help you to identify who they were.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman;\">Sebastian:\u00a0 is most often depicted in art and literature tied to a post and shot with arrows; however, he was rescued and healed by Saint Irene of Rome before criticizing the emperor and ultimately being clubbed to death; he\u00a0died in c.288.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman;\">Peter:\u00a0 was the impetuous apostle who was named \u201cthe rock\u201d by Christ.\u00a0 <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman;\">Lawrence:\u00a0 was one of the seven deacons of ancient Rome who were martyred during the persecution of Valerian in 258.\u00a0 He was grilled to death and so is associated with the \u201cgridiron.\u201d\u00a0 His name in Latin means <em>laurelled.<\/em>\u00a0 <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman;\">Augustine: in his early years was heavily influenced by Manicheaeism and neo-Platonism and later was considered to be independent in his theology and philosophy.\u00a0 He believed that the grace of Christ was indispensable to human freedom and formed the concepts of original sin and just war.\u00a0 Born November 13, 354.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman;\">Francis:\u00a0 was the gentle Italian Catholic friar who had the audacity to want to reform the vatican;
