A job interview – how did it go?
Oct 19th, 2008 by admin
On Friday, 09 November 2007, a man got a phone call from a consulting firm telling him that he had an interview with an employer who was filling a position through them.
He was told that they had three interview slots open on Monday, November 12th, at 10:00 am, noon, and 2:00 pm, all in Portland, Oregon. The man, thinking he was a competent astrologer, snapped up the noon slot because the Sun would be close to the Midheaven (ed. note: is that all it takes??). When the man got back to his computer late Friday evening and read the details about the interview, he discovered that the woman who would interview him was an astrologer whom he met when she lectured 4 years ago. Back then, he had no idea that she was a computer professional. The woman may or may not have recognized the man’s name as he is the current president of the local astrological organization.
The man said that judging from his solar arcs and his personal history (all sorts of things happening in November 2007), he thought he would do well.
Tell me what happened?
Male, born August 15, 1950, 4:24 pm PDT, Forest Park (Portland), OR (122w40, 45n31) – 17:41 Sagittarius rising.
Interview: November 12th, 2007, 12:00 pm PST, Portland, OR (122w43, 45n32) – 23:33 Capricorn rising
The following analysis uses the Kerry Theory as a basis for determining what happened and why. You may read more about the Kerry Theory by visiting:

Outcome:
On 13 November 2007, the woman wrote back to say they found someone better.
Analysis:
Here’s why he didn’t get the job (IMHO):
His natal (n.) Neptune is conjunct the MC, so that would seemingly make it important where matters of career are concerned.
Currently, transiting (t.) Neptune is being heavily energized by both the t. Sun and n. Mercury, both being negative (NEG) to t. Neptune (quincunxes are negative) within a 2-degree orb. This forms a negative energy chain through which other negative energy may flow if it is present.
Transiting (t.) Neptune is NEG to n. Saturn within 2-degrees and NEG to n. Pluto within 2-degrees. Luckily, n. Saturn and t. Saturn are both positive to n. and t. Sun so NEG energy cannot flow through Saturn at this time. T. Neptune conduits this NEG energy to n. Neptune, which tries to pass the NEG energy along to t. Uranus, but luckily this NEG energy cannot pass through Uranus as both n. Uranus and t. Uranus are also positive (POS) to n. Sun and t. Sun (15-degree orb), respectively.
But what about Pluto? Pluto CAN conduit this NEG energy because n. Pluto is conjunct n. Sun (15-deg orb) and conjunctions take on the energy of any planet they are tied to (2-deg orb). N. Pluto then conduits this NEG energy from t. Neptune to t. Pluto, which then passes it along to the n. South Node (2-deg orb), which itself is getting NEG energy from the t. Sun (15-degree orb) through its counterpart t. South Node and thus can allow the NEG energy to flow. Note that t. South Node is getting extra energy from t. Mercury and that t. South Node is in the same sign as n. Mercury (thus making the South Node a receptor – for the same reason Saturn is also a receptor – re-examine the NEG aspect formed from t. Neptune to n. Saturn) – he should also watch his your health.
Because of the NEG energy that is passing through n. South Node, which conduits to t. South Node, t. South Node brings in NEG n. Jupiter (2-deg. orb) because n. Jupiter is NEG to n. Sun at birth. I’m pretty sure that NEG Jupiter is partly the reason why initial hopes were replaced by disappointment and that the opportunity did not work out as hoped – Jupiter = hope and opportunity.
We never know when seemingly bad or negative results actually end up working in our favor – perhaps this job would have sucked (might as well try to be philosophical). Anyway, career-wise, yesterday was not a good time for this man. A better something will come along later when the planetary influences connected with career are not so negative. The planets do move on, eventually.
The below shows the natal planets at the top and the transit planets below that:
How did you do?
Please realize that research regarding the Kerry Theory is on-going and new discoveries are currently being made. One of these involves what are called RECEPTORS and these provide great insight into how planetary energies work themselves out.
I am no expert in the workings of the Kerry Theory, but I am studying it because I feel it has the potential to provide the keys that will unlock the mysteries of predictive astrology.
Here is a list of positive aspects for the interview:
Transit to natal aspects (2-degree orb):
T. Sun to n. Mercury – pos
T. Sun to n. Saturn – pos
T. Mercury to n. Jupiter – pos
T. Venus to n. Mars – pos
T. Jupiter to n. Sun – pos
T. Saturn to n. Uranus – pos
T. S. Node to n. Mars – pos
Transit to transit aspects (2-degree orb):
T. Sun to t. Jupiter – pos
T. Mercury to t. S. Node – pos
T. Venus to t. S. Node – pos
Why didn’t these aspects seemingly help the man? They weren’t activated by a Sun-Mercury connection and/or their positive energy could not flow or was not triggered. All you folks that think positive Jupiter aspects insure good fortune, please keep studying.

Hi, I do believe your web site might be having internet
browser compatibility problems. Whenever I look at your web
site in Safari, it looks fine however, when opening in Internet Explorer, it’s got some overlapping issues.
I just wanted to provide you with a quick heads up!
Apart from that, wonderful blog!
Using IE 11.0.9 it looks fine on my desktop system. What sort of device or system are you viewing this page on using IE? And what version of IE are you using and what is your OS?
